I have to be a student of higher education or currently enrolled in a course at an International House (World Organisation) member school to join X-CHANGE.

I am responsible for the accuracy of all data I give about myself on the X-CHANGE database.

I am responsible for keeping the X-CHANGE programme informed of any changes in the data I have provided about myself.

I am aware that all X-CHANGE data has been processed on the basis of members' application forms, and no further screening of applicants has been made.

It is my responsibility to decide to whom and when I release my mailing and permanent address and telephone number; and I take full responsibility for the success or failure of my X-CHANGE partnership.

X-CHANGE can not be held legally responsible for any inconveniences that occur while visiting or hosting an X-CHANGE partner.

I can be held responsible for providing X-CHANGE data to non-members or giving false information about myself; and in such cases X-CHANGE has the right to terminate my membership.

I am responsible for the confidentiality of my password and all the information accessed through my password.

When I am contacted by an X-CHANGE partner via e-mail, I am responsible for verifying their X-CHANGE membership.

If a non-member tries to use any of the X-CHANGE databanks, it is in my best interest to notify X-CHANGE at non-member@xchange.org.hu.

Should there be any serious complaints about me regarding my actions or behaviour as a member, X-CHANGE has the right to terminate my membership.

X-CHANGE is responsible only for providing the databank requested from the menu of participating countries, but can not be held responsible for finding a partner.

X-CHANGE will not give out data on members to any other organisations.

X-CHANGE will not release my mailing and permanent address, my home phone number, and will handle all this data as strictly confidential information.
